05:59 pm - Greece, I got your number
So, I have to change airports in under two and a half hours in New York City (blech), but I have tickets to Greece.

Leave CMH on April 5, arrive 9 AM on April 6 in Athens.

Leave Athens on April 16, Arrive back in Columbus on April 16.

Now, to get my ass to the eye doctor, the physical doctor, and the tooth doctor, and get my car to the shop, and I'll be all set to actually be human and in control of my life again.

Thank you, IRS: your refund has made this possible.

Now, mazisexton, what are you going to photograph me wearing this time?

No one else would be allowed to do that. But you, of course, can.

I'm jealous of your traipsing around the world, too, so we'll call ourselves even :)

No, fortunately it's JFK to LGA. Not such a major deal, but still a pain in the ass.

Please take lots of pictures so those of us who can't go for one reason or another can live vicariously through you!

Worry not, I'll certainly do that. I took enough in Austria, right?

Good for you.

I seem to have hit a small snag in my plans to get to Greece: The British Government.

I had been planning to use my next influx of food money to purchase the ticket, but the fools in the customs office decided to charge me £65 to get the package out of customs.

I said 'oh hell no' and they will be shipping it back to Ohio soon.

(they have this deal where you *have* to pay to get it out, and then you can appeal and they *might* give you the money back)

So, yeah, small snag.

I had to change from LaGuardia to JFK when I went to London; it took about 30 minutes to get there via taxi, so you should be fine.

I'm hoping to catch a shuttle, which is loads cheaper and should take about an hour.

Of course, that's an hour added onto the time of running through customs, collecting my baggage, and then going through security and re-checking the bags.
