|10:26 am - Io Eris! There's so much going on. . .|
tlachtga: There's something in the mail for you, hot stuff!
I finished editing the Dance Guild proposal, so after officer elections, we'll probably be ready to move on it.
My cold is hanging around, but at least I can think straight now.
I'm also mailing out my ballot for ADF elections. I was going to mail out a few more things, but it appears that my stupid checkbook is nowhere to be found. Grr.
I did finally find an excuse to use my golden apple post-it notes, though! I'm so happy!
Now, I'm thinking. This is a dangerous game. It's like looking into a pit with your best friend, and he turns to you and says: "Asps. Very dangerous. You go first."
So we won't be talking about what I'm thinking :) Not until the anti-venom gets here, at least. Or someone gives me some petrol I can pump on 'em and a torch to light it with.
Brian and I were out last night, and some hottie waitress came up to us in TGI Friday's. She looked at us, and said: "I know this sounds weird, but where did you go to high school?"
We looked at each other for a moment. Not a month ago, we'd had the same conversation with a different hottie waitress. That waitress had been from Perrysburg. At that time, Brian had said he had been to her school for "Quizbowl". Apparently, he couldn't help himself. I'd kicked him under the table and he later admited it would have been better to have said that he traveled there for baseball.
So with this in mind, he said "Toledo", and she asked where exactly. He told her and she said (drumroll, please), "Oh, I'm from Perrysburg. You guys just look so familiar!"
As soon as she said "Perrysburg", both of us started laughing. She thought it was something she'd said, and we admitted that we'd spoken to another waitress (probably actually sitting at the same table) about a month ago. She got a bit flustered and left, and we were still laughing.
The first thing I said, when she turned around, was, "Well, Brian: at least you didn't say you were in Quizbowl. You've just improved your chances immensely!"
"Yeah", he said, "But next time a hottie asks us where we went to school, we're saying 'Perrysburg'."

And if we follow a slightly different numerology, we would delete multiple instances of any letter:
Perrysburg = Perysbug = 16 5 18 25 19 2 21 7 = 113 = 1+1+3 = 5
Damn, Tosk. I admit that I was blind.
But now I see :)

*sings an old hymn*
Oh Blinding Light! Oh Light that Blinds!
Look out for me! I cannot see!
