09:44 am - Home sick
Yes, today I am home sick.

I'm not going to work or to class (making this the most times I've missed a class in one quarter for sickness ever: 2). Today I have a fever (again), the lymph nodes under my armpits are swolen and very painful, I have a nasty cough, and I'm still getting flashes of extreme warmth and cold. But I'm not doing too bad, really.

But you will all see that I'm still logged into AIM, MSN, and Yahoo! Messenger.

I can't respond to them, because it's my computer at work that is hooked in.

So I ask you all: To make me feel better, send me an IM that's creative and funny, or just downright naughty and dirty, so I can see it when I get back to work in the morning.

AIM: Chronarchy
Yahoo!: Chronarchy
MSN: Chronarchy@hotmail.com

If you don't have access to one of those, you can always leave me a comment!

Oh, and I'll be writing up my weekend at Desert Magic, I think. There's one story in particular I want to tell.

One day George W. Bush and Dick Cheney walk into a diner. A waitress walks up to them and asks if she can take their order. Bush leans close to her and says, "Honey, can I have a quickie?"

The waitress is appalled and yells at the President about women's rights and storms away.

Cheney then says to Bush, "George, its pronounced 'keesh'."

What do George Bush's wife and the American flag have in common?
They both go down in the name of the president.

"the lymph nodes under my armpits are swolen and very painful, "

This is weird, but so are mine. Luckily, I don't have the fever, etc. (although I often get hot-flashes, which I am sure are not related), but I was wondering about the lymph node thing. Strange..... Could it possibly have been something in the hot tub?

That was my first guess, but when the symptoms hit for further sickness, I decided that was unlikely.

However, if we're both getting these symptoms, maybe that's very likely.

I expect we both had an alergic reaction to *something*.

Whatever it was, I'm not taking back anything nice I said about Kirk's hospitality. :)

Well, I have been in that hottub many, many times before, so I don't really think it was the hottub. I had also tasted several of the herbs that Fiona talked about, so I thought maybe I had an allergic reaction to one of those....

I'm glad you are feeling better.
