And here I am at Wellspring:
(Thanks to CLG for hosting the picture!)
More on Wellspring to come. It was pretty good. Only issue?
Not enough time to spend with everyone I needed to spend time with! More than once, I think I left people feeling left out or ignored. That's not good.
Current Mood: tired
Current Music: "He Went to Paris", -JB
Yeah, that's the smug, shit-eating grin that was on your face all week... except where are the babes that should be tucked under each arm?
I can relate to the time issue -- and I wholeheartedly adopted the "sleep is for the week" motto for the duration. Sleep? Food? Drink? Who has time for that when there are so many folks to spend time with and Wellspring is the only time (for many) I will ever see them?
See, what I need to do is have all the groups that I need to hang with hang around me. :) I need to make CLG come camp next to me, make beautycorrosion
set up next to me, and draw the region in closer. I then need to get gothicdruid
and Meredith to set up there, and also SSG and qorinda
. Then I need to make smithingchick
park next to me, as she was sleeping in her car :)
Heck, why doesn't everyone just set up around our Grove? Yes. That will be the plan next year :)
We tried... but when we got in we couldn't find anyone. :( *shakes fist*
I know. It would have been much easier had we been able to set up down by the hardware store, as we'd wanted. *sighs* Ah, well. We found everyone eventually.
Perhaps you can talk to Stonecreed about this for next year. :)
I know, we can do concentric spirals of tents with yours being the one at the center. That way you can get more 'face time' with your various groups easier. Whaddya think?
We just need to have our own bonfire :) I felt bad all around for the amount of time I got to spend. I wasn't with my own Grove enough, I wasn't with my Harem enough, I wasn't with people who actually came out just to meet me enough. . . It just gets more and more.
But, honestly, the time I spent with those groups was still very special. Just wish I didn't have to choose like I did.
Haha. We should do a festival where all we do is sit around and talk and laugh. Forget workshops! The meetings and workshops are really what cut into my time with people!
Hey! It's you! It's you! Add me, add me!
I tried to find you to hug you and congratulate you before we left (I obviously did not attend the ritual, haha), but you had disappeared. :(
Yes, I didn't get to spend near enough time with you this time, but the time we got to spend was good. :)
And I didn't get to meet and get to know near enough of the people who were there.... SO much going on!
I'm still in an altered state of consciousness, trying to find some semblance of ordinary reality again, so I can function at work. heheh.
Agreed. Not enough time. Of course, I can't take nearly as much hottubbing as you're capable of. :) At DMF I was way over my limit :)
I didn't do as much hottubbing this time either... it was way too hot!
And I loved all the workshops and meetings, and wouldn't have missed them for anything, but I do agree that it cut into the time to socialize quite a bit.
ahh, looks fun. i do miss dressing up in ritual gear.
If I manage to swing by Urbana-Champaign this summer, I'll bring mine and we can go out to coffee wearing ritual stuff. . .
Or I suppose we could do a ritual, but that doesn't sound like nearly as much fun. . .
Oh I like the first idea much better!
Then we'll have to do that :)
Nice pic. Would you smack me if I said you look a bit fruity?
I think that was part of the point of the pose :)

Size 13, yes. :) Those shoes I made myself, though. They fit very well, but they're due for some repair :)
Re: And here I was thinking
You know what they say about big feet..... they usually smell. ;P
You look like a happy Druid. :-)
Oh, I am. Believe me, I'm very lucky to be able to go to these things and meet so many cool people. That's the best part of festivals, really.
Fnord, That's all I have to say!
But it was certainly nice meeting you, and all the people from LJ!
you really should see a chiropractor about the back problem you got there.
Haha. Nope. My back bends just fine. :)
