12:12 pm - Wow. . .
My favourite thing to have heard today?

That a friend of mine used to practice lap dances on other girls at slumber parties. . .

And my mind's eye is suffering information overload. . .

Woah. For once someone cares enough to pass on a mental image that isn't utterly disgusting.

Hey, is that an insinuation that I like to pass on disgusting images?

Just stare at the wall and visualize all the potential in that statement.

*sniff*

It's just beautiful!

When I was in college (and a fairly young and naive 18) my roommate suggested that we "practice" our making-out techniques on each other.

I declined. Presumably she found someone else to practice with :).

(So I'm guessing the slumber-part lapdance thing isn't all that unusual!)

Wasn't there a quote from, um, maybe Bridget Jones' Diary about this?

Something like:

"Yes you did. Make it up!

?

Make up that story, and I'll read it all the way through :)

Damn, I just never get (got) invited to the really good parties.... :-)

I've heard of girls "practicing" on each other before, but I've never heard of guys doing that, at least not under a pretense of "practice". Are girls less afraid of being called gay? Are they more in touch with or accepting of whatever such tendencies they may have?

"Gay" is a pretty forceful insult in the young male community. You don't want to do *anything* that could get you that lable in middle school.

I dunno. Maybe women are just cooler then guys.

Of course. I just think it's interesting that girls apparently don't have the same stigma.

I already knew that. :-)

You should call ahead to make sure they allow it, because some places don't. Or, so I hear.

Last year, Tina asked what I wanted for my birthday, and I told her: "To buy you a lap dance."

She didn't think I was serious, so there was no lap dance purchase.

I did that once. I don't think the girl quite knew what to make of it, but she was a cutie - all goth-like and young, with flowing lace and long blond hair. mmmmm.

I stared at the wall for a while after reading that. It was good visualization time.

I dunno. I'd never thought of it as a common slumber-party activity. It just doesn't fit mentally with braiding hair and doing nails to me. . .

But it does make the whole pillowfight visualization more complete. . .

It's hardly that uncommon. Girls are a lot less restrictive at slumber parties.
