A few of you may be interested:

After a couple years of decline, Sacred Source seems to be bringing in a few new Celtic pieces.

Most recent additions are Rhiannon and Danu.

check it out.

There are also a couple of new Norse things.

These don't appear to be reproductions, though, but rather new creative pieces, which I'm not as big a fan of, but others might be.

Eh, I'm not too thrilled with the new stuff. They're too... I don't know, they're not very good. They seem fluffy in some ways (especially Danu). I like the older stuff, reproductions.

I still need to find a decent Rhiannon, and right now, I can't afford their prices. I also have yet to find anything I like for Mabon. Oh well.

It's actually pretty nice. They also have a really big one. Ian and Sue brought it to Summerland last year, and I got to look at it. It was pretty darn cool.

Of course, you can't put anything in it, as it's made of resin. Kind of annoying for the price.

AAARRRRRGH! This is SO screwed up!!

Vesta turns Housework, or any Chore, into Worship
Vesta, Roman Goddess of Household Harmony (whose Greek name Hestia means "hearth"), is accompanied by the donkey-god Pales, a symbol of creative labor and fertility throughout the ancient world. The serpent represents Vesta's generative function, while her scepter and headdress signify her rank. Harmony will reign in your hearth and home as you meditate on this image.
(see http://www.sacredsource.com/prodinfo.asp?number=VSP&variation=&aitem=32&mitem=66)

Vesta is NOT a goddess of household harmony; the Pales is NOT a donkey (though no one really knows what it/they is/are); Vesta does NOT hold a scepter or any rank; and she is NOT a fertility goddess/have generative functions. Who writes these things???!

Yeah, I try not to read the descriptions of the Deities. They're kinda scary.

dude. i don't remember the part where rhiannon's horse had chicken pox.

eh. i'm not big on statuary. i'd far rather have something that i've personally collected/made to represent a deity than an image of said deity.

I really like the one of the Morrigan with the spear, which is kinda surprising since I think a lot of their stuff a little cheesy, especially their "creative" pieces. Not real big on the Brighid ones, though- any of them.

Yeah, the fact that you can't put anything in that cauldron kinda sucks. However, if you wanted one that was actually safe to put food or beverages in, it'd have to be sterling silver (or gold) & twice that cost wouldn't cover materials. Although it would also be possible to make it in copper & then have it plated. Which would cost a lot less. Hell of a lot of work-- there's a buttload of repousse on it (which I'd consider way too much fun, but I'm weird like that)

Could also use a lead free pewter, now that I think about it. (We don't use pewter at school & I don't work with it so I never think of it right away)
