|02:47 pm - Oh, my friends are the best. Let me prove it!|
Stolen directly from featherynscale, because this looks really cool!
1. Go to my userinfo page.
2. Pick one person on my friends list you're curious about.
3. Comment with their username.
4. And I will talk "All Kinds Of Shit" about them (I reserve the right to determine what constitutes "All Kinds Of Shit").
Pick anybody you want. I'll tell you about you, or your friend, or whoever, because, you know, who doesn't like to talk about their friends?

It is a wicked cool name, and she is also wicked cool.
Imagine, if you will, stepping off an airplane in a city where you no longer know a soul. Looking around, you aren't at all sure what you're going to do for the next few hours, but suddenly, two women come wandering down the terminal wearing RenFest stuff (bosoms a-spilling over). One of these is kittenpants
, and they kidnap you and feed you cake that's got more rum than batter, drink lots of coffee, and then take you all over the city.kittenpants
is one of those people who says lots of interesting things, but sometimes you need to coax them out of her. There's chaos around her, and her hair has become black very recently. She sat by and watched me get mauled by a dingo, laughing all the way. She has helped to relocate monkeys all around Kansas City, tagging them and releasing them.
On an amusing side note, I am apparently jealous of her fiance. No, really.

Re: I'll play
is a daughter of Freyja. Imagine, if you will, a valkyre (who was a stripper in a former life). She's an awesome baker of foods, strangely domesticated for her previously wild life.
She seeks ordination to become a legally recognized as a priestess. To this end, she'll do just about anything that's required. She teaches much, and reads more.
Sometimes conflicted, always open (sometimes too open), and perpetually with something to say.
. What can I say that won't embarass her?
Does it matter?
No, it doesn't. :)smithing_chick
and I met at Wellspring in 2003. The chain of events is still rather fuzzy. She apparently tried to get me drunk so as to maybe take advantage of me, but she was a bit further gone than I was already. It was she who started the trend of drunken women hitting on me at festivals. We had a good talk, and I've been talking to her ever since.
In fact, I chat with her nearly every day. And she gets stuff done, and pushes me and other ADFer's to get stuff done.
And she ain't afraid to tell you exactly what she thinks. Just ask her. I dare you.
is the origin of the term "Bald Hottie" in my lexicon. Until I met her, I was all about long hair. Only long hair could make a woman beautiful. Now, I can see beauty even in the shiniest of heads.
She's a devoted Vedic (one of two in ADF) who has her own religious organization. She's invited me to speak at a conference and to help with a puppet show (where, if I screw up, my wife will surely die). She looks damn fine in a monkey hat.
She is an imp. Beware her shaking fist of death and irony.
She brings out the catty in me. Oh, you should hear the conversations about people and things in ADF. I'm open with her, and she probably knows more about me than most of my friends, and I've only met her once.
We talk online every day for a few hours. Often, she gets piratical or impish or monkeyish, sometimes all at once, and that's very frightening.
But what would I do without her?
Oh, yeah. I'd work.
doesn't post enough.
I presided at his wedding, along with anivair

once promised to make more quizzes, but he never did. Instead, he just posts in people's jourals, and reminds us that Eris is running for judge
. He heads up the Invisible College. He also pointed out that a whale once exploded, and it took three cranes to lift the carcass out of the street.
I didn't even know that my Grove was in Taiwan that day.
I'm just a bit curious cause of the name.
Oh, and you know I'll always be curious about what you think of
By the by, my code writing sucks. :(
is a travel journal, and an experiment. Each kangaroo is representative of a different facet of the journalers personality, evolving slowly from a Chicagoan to a Vennian. There are, after all, no kangaroos in Austria.
The first kangaroo was a spitfire demon out of hell. She lived her life hard and fast, hopping from place to place, time to time. But eventually, it all caught up with her.
The second kangaroo was annoyed with stupid people. She spent her time being nitpicky and vocal. She eventually became consumed by the flames of politics, and was quickly sliding downhill.
The thrid kangaroo, which you see before you, is the current incarnation. She is quiet, but knowledgeable. She works behind the scenes. She has become a major force in our world without being seen. We are all her puppets.
She now controls the world.
INTERESTING NAME THERE....
does, and always will, hold a special place in my heart. Despite me being an asshole and a jerk, she still likes me and remains a friend. We have our share of differences, but I can't forget the first time I saw her:
She was dressed in black, even down to the black lipstick, yelling at Brother Jed on the Oval, and I was lying on the ground. We talked, and I managed to find PSA because of her. I was lucky.
Then I was an idiot.
We haven't ever really been out of contact, and both of us are now more or less tied to Columbus. We don't see each other enough, but we should. In fact, we should probably see each other very soon, I think.
once met me in an airport. My plane had arrived early, and so I got to watch her walk up to where she was supposed to meet me, wearing exactly what she promised and holding a sign that read exactly what she promised.
She took me out to lunch then, to a place she knew I'd like.
Then there were the long nights in the hot tub talking and chatting. And occasionally sitting *very* close.
I like qorinda
a lot. I really like to talk to her, and really enjoy the time I get to spend with her. It's fun, and she's really very intellegent.
After that trip out, I find myself looking at going to Phoenix again, and I know that when she comes to Columbus, I will have to meet her similarly attired.
Which means I'll have to find a see-through shirt and make a sign that says, "Sexy Senior Druid of Rising Phoenix, your party is waiting."
is one of those women whose journal I started reading because a) she posted to adf
and b) the icon indicated she was probably hot.
On occasion, we flirt back and forth. As she was in Scotland for school for a couple of terms and then was headed back to Oregan, I figured I wouldn't be lucky enough to ever meet her, so I had some fun just reading and watching what she was up to.
Then she says she's spending the summer in Illinois, and all of a sudden things changed. Suddenly, I thought I might get to meet her, so I sent her the information to a rite I was planning on being at (it was almost as far for her as it was for me), and we met up.
And yes, she was hot.
Beyond that, I really enjoy reading her entries. She usually writes well and she has some nifty friends (some of whom I've picked up for my own friends list.)
Hopefully, she'll submit some of her papers to Oak Leaves so I can read them again. They're damn good.
And I think I'm going to sorta steal this idea from you, because it looks fun. *g*
Interestingly, I know nothing at all about lost_my_llama
. Except, of course, that lost_my_llama
has nothing to say.
Beyond that, I will make things up.
One day, lost_my_llama
was wandering through the dark and depressing side of the moon. Well, it's hard to be up-beat when it's dark, so you know why it's depressing. Anyway, lost_my_llama
's only companion was a llama, of course. At that time, lost_my_llama
was not known as lost_my_llama
, but rather as lost
(though this person is not the same).
The llama was a magic llama, though, and through rubbing it, lost_my_llama
could summon a genie. It is this property that had gotten the pair to the dark and depressing side of the moon, and it was this property that would get them off.
Unfortunately, the dark side of the moon is very dark, and thus lost_my_llama
lost the llama among the craters.
Only when they are reunited will lost_my_llama
be able to return to earth.

once saved my ass when something happened at the ADF office. She was the first Office Elf I ever had the pleasure of correspondance with, and so my first real taste of ADF was rather sweet. (I don't remember what the problem was, but damn if she didn't fix it quite fast!)
I'd seen her post every so often on the ADF lists, but when I saw that she had an account here, I quickly moved in and friended her. It's always interesting to see her take on ADF stuff, and more interesting to see her ignore it when it just becomes stupid. On occasion, I take that example as my own.
She's intellegent, well-read, and generally concise and to the point. One of these days, I'd like to meet her, as she seems really cool to me, and plus, that might mean that I'd be in London, where she is now.
Hopefully, there won't be accidents with hair dye when I do meet her :)

dude, what's the deal with rhiannon76
? Her? Geez, I don't know. Nothing good, I'm sure.
But of course, she did take in a certain grey cat. That's mucho bonus points in my book. I understand that he's fond of the front window.rhiannon76
can lead a wicked good ritual, though sometimes things get out of order. That'll get fixed eventually, though. :) It's really fun to watch her get into the rite, and heck, I even danced (in my stilted, annoying dance-like way) in a ritual she did.
But she needs to go to more festivals and hang out with me more.
Doctor's orders, you know.
is always good for a deep, scholarly discussion of Gaul, though we have far too few of those discussions. Maybe we should have more? I think so.
In general, fun to read (when posts occur, and they're kinda scanty now), and always good to comment on.
As it's a second journal for one person, though, you might have to look further down the page at my description of ravenlaughing
fellow Alan Cumming and Nightcrawler fan.
There seems to be a lot of that going around these days. . .bamfchickie
is one of those people I like to read the entire entry from. Yes, I read all my friends entries, but some I read more carefully than others.
I don't really remember how I came across her; I believe someone recommended I friend her on another meme. I did so, and I've been interested to read her writing since. It's damn good stuff.bamfchickie
is looking eastward, it seems, facing the dawn. I don't blame her, as that's my favourite thing to see as well. There's an ocean out there, and the sun rises beautifully above it, I understand, though I've never witnessed this particular phenomenon myself.
