 The term "Fluffy Bunny" appears to come from the cover of a Scott Cunningham book, "Living Wicca". If you look closely, you can see the bunny in question running down near the Wiccan's feet.
Bet you never knew that, huh?
I enjoy fluffy-bunny-ness every so often. It's amusing.

Someone once told me it came from the cover of a Scott Cunningham book, and yesterday I decided to check to see if there really was a SC book with a "fluffy bunny" on the cover. Sure enough, there was! :)
I think it's a very likely etymology. :)
