02:41 pm - Calling all Elder Gods. . . Tentacle clean-up on aisle 6. Clean-up on aisle 6. . .
I actually have two long-promised items today, but the other needs to come later.

First: The Cthulhu Working.

Please, for those who don't like tentacles, you might avoid this one.

Klatuu Barata Nikto!

Where's Ash when you need him? (Just have to say, having the Evil Dead Necronomicon is beyond cool.)

I'm really curious what the third blasphemous book is.

After reading this, I know why I don't summon up things. No, really. Openning a gate to the Kindred is one thing (or maybe I think of it more like openning a window, as opposed to a door), while summoning is something else. Real or not, I don't know, but... damn.

I wanted to get the photos up in time for your birthday, actually. Seems I succeeded, though just barely.

Very nice. Your adventures into the other realms are often a touch more daring and reckless than my own. Impressive.

I will take "daring and reckless" as a compliment. :)

But more to the point, it was kinda stupid :)

it was all these things and more, but I'm still impressed and mildly envious.

When I was younger, I dealt with things that seem similar to that without trying to. I think that I will probably never, ever do a ritual like that one.

*shudder*

But. More power to you for being able to carry it off and not end up insane. Or insaner. :-p Nice pics, btw.

chronarchyinsane? Was there ever really any doubt of that? (er, shouldn't we be calling the men in white coats about now?)

Hmm... There is that.

I can always rely on you to give my memory a smack upside the head.

Or something like that.

Rituals like that are why I'm much more of a priest than a magician. Remind me and featherynscale to tell you about the "chipper/shredder" when you're in town...

I'm far more priest than I am magician, which is why I do these. I don't want to get stuck in one mode.

The Erisian in me would bust out at all the wrong times if I did that. . .

Cthulhu's wrapper?

Is there a surgeon general's warning on that?

Because, you know, there should be.

Impressive. VEry impressive.

Until, I saw the pics of body paint, and my mind went wile with images of mike and the gay Cthullu. Hen-tai inspired tentacle scene.

My mind takes me weird places.

well, i myself have never heard the call of cthulu (except on a metallica album...and now in my head...great...)

but i have upmost (utmost?) respect and admiration for those who are able to abandon themselves to the ecstasies of ritual. i am jealous of drummers and dancers and all others that cease feelign self conscious and let the spirit take them.

Not being able to drum or dance, I know how you feel.

But being alone where no one will see you helps a lot.

no, for the painfully self-conscious, even the cats count as an audience....
