|08:41 am - PSG|
So, I'm thinking about maybe going to Pagan Spirit Gathering next year. Over the past couple of years I've kind of avoided it because it's not an ADF festival, and I don't really care much for non-ADF festivals. Well, there's also the fact that it's expensive as all hell, and I'm not sure I can get the time off to spend a week with a bunch of naked pagans in the woods. . .
I seem to recall that it runs about $180 or something like that, which is a lot. But Brian and I were talking last night, and there's something we'd really like to present on, and I'd like to talk to people from a more broad Pagan community.
But the biggest problem? It's during the first week of summer quarter. Vacation is majorly limited that week.
*sighs* But, tentatively, Brian and I are planning to go.
Now I just need to find out who to talk to regarding doing a workshop. Their website could really use an update.

Heh, I try to avoid taking days off for religious reasons :) I already get other people's religious holidays off. . . it'd be kind of unfair to take my own :)
But I'll probably put in the request and see what happens. If it's no go, it's no big deal. I'll just complain about their horrible scheduling for a few years. ("Well, damnit, they should have scheduled their couple-hundered-attendee-event around ME!")

I (or my family) complain about PSG scheduling every year because it always starts or ends of Fathers Day, and often conflicts with Comfest. But the whole point is that PSG happens during summer solstice.

It's closer to 1000 attendees.
