So, I'm thinking about maybe going to Pagan Spirit Gathering next year. Over the past couple of years I've kind of avoided it because it's not an ADF festival, and I don't really care much for non-ADF festivals. Well, there's also the fact that it's expensive as all hell, and I'm not sure I can get the time off to spend a week with a bunch of naked pagans in the woods. . .

I seem to recall that it runs about $180 or something like that, which is a lot. But Brian and I were talking last night, and there's something we'd really like to present on, and I'd like to talk to people from a more broad Pagan community.

But the biggest problem? It's during the first week of summer quarter. Vacation is majorly limited that week.

*sighs* But, tentatively, Brian and I are planning to go.

Now I just need to find out who to talk to regarding doing a workshop. Their website could really use an update.

I will kill you if you don't go to PSG.

No seriously. Think of it this way... assuming PSG is $195 (don't know prices for this year), that's $27.85 per night. Ohio State Parks charge $22 per night for tent camping.

And that's not just seven nights of camping (with walking trails in the woods, a pleasant swimmin' hole, and great stargazing at night). You get free concerts every evening, LOTS of free workshops every day, rituals, networking, various programs, drumming/bonfire, sweatlodges, and the infamous Tea Dance (ask Garan Du)... plus some nice extras like food vendors and a coffeehouse with snacks if you don't like cooking for yourself while camping.
