What's that? You didn't know I had a kid? Well, there's a reason for that: I never did, outside of my boys (and the girl), until Tina and I had Christmas.
Tina made me a daddy for Christmas, adopting one of these from the Columbus Zoo. (S)he's a Matschie's Tree Kangaroo, and (s)he's been one of my favourite things to visit at the zoo for years, ever since I first saw him/her.
Of course, usually I'm only privledged to see the back half. I mean, if you had the chance to moon thousands of people every day, you'd do that, too, wouldn't you?
I don't have a picture of my kid yet, so I did a quick Google Image Search to help you get an idea of what (s)he looks like.
I keep saying "(s)he" because I'm unaware of which MTK I've adopted at the moment. I visited the other night, and I was told that the Zoo has two of them, one male and one female. The girl is Kia, and the boy is AJ (short for Almond Joy).
So now I need to go to the Zoo more. I've never had a kid in the slammer. This is a new development for me. I suspect that frequent visits are expected of me, as I'm obviously a proud new father.
I just can't help but think that I should have rased him/her better than to get into trouble like that. . . I mean, in jail? My kid? *sighs* My poor heart!
