|08:17 am - Nooooo! My eyes! My eyes!|
If you're brave, you may see the colour of Tina's room behind the cut.
For those with browsers that won't show up in, it's colour "ff4400"
Use at your own risk.

Orange, actually. Bright, construction orange. I'm wondering if you're getting a different colour than I'm seeing. Damn difference in screens.

I like it...
I want a light orange and purple room : ) purple door, orange walls, white moldings...?

wow, that's a hell of a color.
wow....I think I would get really nervous in the company of this color for extended periods of time...
With all the reading I've been doing about Cthulhu and such recently, the orange glow from her room really threw me this morning.

Whoa, that's bright

Ummm... The evil Elvish colour burns us, Precious!
More red-haired amazon, but in the end, what's the difference? :)
I always wanted to paint a room black, just to see what it'd be like. However, I can't really take the color orange in large doses. Not sure why, but it hurts my eyes.
But then, my room is (unfortunately) white-painted wood paneling. Which was probably brown before they painted it.
Very unattractive, actually.
She always wanted to paint her ceiling black when she was a kid.
I assume it'd just make the room look small, but very dark at night. :)

So, does she want blindness or is it some kind of "torture dungeon"?

Heh. Shows what I know about those colour number things. I just matched it as close as I could visually :)
re: Tina's colour blindness. . . Well, she did say she wanted "bright". :)
Is there some secret psychological effect of being surrounded by blaze orange?
|Date:||January 24th, 2005 08:59 pm (UTC)|| |
Well I do say it is bright but not nearly as bad as the small bathroom thats in the house a couple of friends of mine are buying.
Think tiny bath and ultra-violent salmon. The color bled out into the hallway when light shines on it.
You do realize that certain shades of orange have been shown to provoke rage in some people, don't you? (At least according to a psychology class back in the day.)
And it looks orange to me. ;-)

That is really evil.
Ye Gods. It's the exact shade of orange that alwasy puts me in a really shitty, irritated mood.........
I have to admit that I'm amused by the is-it-orange-or-red debate. Mostly because the colors that most folks refer to as red are techinically orange in that they have a certain amount of yellow in them, even my beloved crimson red (pure red is magenta). Process colors are funny things...
Of course, the Painting part of my brain is saying "Mix Napthinol red with a titch of Cad Yellow Medium & there you go...."
But all of this is only to distract me from the real truth which is that this is the exact shade of orange that iritates me simply by existing....
And her entire *room* is this color?
