|01:29 pm - Maps!|
I spent my lunch hour building this map today for ADF.
I have several more maps done (some have seen them), and I'll be uploading them to the ADF site shortly. Here's a sample I did last weekend:
Current Mood: artistic
Current Music: "Peanut Butter Conspiracy", -JB
on the second map, how about using different colors rather than different shades of one color? i'm finding it difficult to distinguish between the 2nd and 3rd darkest shades of brown when looking from the map to the key. (though the monochromatic scheme is nice.)
I thought about that, but it's pleasing to the eye as is: I have a horrid sense of how to choose colour. Just look at the Regions Map
that I did two years ago. I mean, I thought it was a good idea at the time, but it soooooo wasn't.
There is a reason that my artisitc skills are generally better left unused.
Btw, Schmendrick should expect a box shortly. I'll probably send it tomorrow when I go to lunch.
then maybe just a way to differentiate those two shades a bit more?
yay, a box! he'll be so pleased. :)
I can, I think. The problem was, I started running out of gradation between them. Between this map and the last one
I had to add another shade. I like the continuity of colours and such between the two maps, but when it came right down to it, it just got to be too much :)
