01:44 pm - A beautiful lunch date will solve all the world's problems. . .
Having been overly creative yesterday making something that turned into a timely present for  ceolnamara, I am quite drained of creativity today. Or, I was before I spent my lunch hour with an incredibly beautiful woman.
I received a great package from shizukagozen of books about how to lug my ass around Europe in preparation for visiting. It helped me have a sudden insight to how to see the English Channel from the bottom rather than the top, and it kept me from being lost when fred_smith mentioned Eurostar.
I also added my personal sigil to my collection of images:
And, as I was at lunch with my beautiful lunchdate, it was decided that rhiannon76 should go into business with those wonderful catbeds of hers, as Tina would certainly purchase one for Raven.

Eddie is so very.....cute...with those green yellow eyes...and black and white ....oh so much your kitty...grin... He matches Infinity pretty well, actually. does Infinity's eyes match? cause if they do..then wooza... I'll have to look when I get home tonight. I don't actually have a colour picture of the girl. I need to get one. Funny, no one has told us :)
However, as a proper Chaote, I claim responsibility and success in my most recent working. I'd tell you why this was the desired result, but it might give away my secret. There's steam rising from the cracks in the ground all over campus. It's foul smelling, too.

I mean, I wonder what it could be? So, they're going to get the heat fixed just in time for summer. Typical I gave you just enough information that you wouldn't die, but not enough so that you can still get lost. :) Good, because getting lost in a country where I don't know the language is just the kind of adventure I need. I think so. We do it all the time! Well, if you do it, it must be good!

I think I'll try calling you after work. Do you have time after 5? er, I think so. If I don't answer, it means that I'm in the subway. However, I plan on taking the subway at 4;30pm, so maybe if you try around 5:15pm, you'll catch me. If not, I'll call you when I get home (that way you don't have to pay for long distance!) K. It looks like I'll be in my office until PSA, as I have to present. Damn presenting! *shakes fist* no worries. I'll give your office a ring then, when I'm outta the subway. Cat! Where did this one come from?
And, I am happy to be the recipient of creative stuff. Generally. The basement of the animal hospital :) He's a good kid, but no one wanted him.
We did. i will happily make you a catbed for raven, but i can't promise anything until the semester's over. just ask tina what sort of colors she'd like. :) (it's a good thing black goes with everything... i was wandering around with a skein of grey yarn trying to decide what color combo might complement schmendrick well.) I'll have to see what Tina says :) I forwarded her this comment :) Tina's response: "That would be fabulous! White probably wouldn't be a good choice. I think he looks best in rich, bold colors, but I doubt he's picky. If it's soft and comfy, it'll do." |
