|11:19 am - If you fret over unfriending me, you might read this. . .|
Over the past few weeks, I've noticed something amusing: sometimes, people are afraid to unfriend people from their journals. They think that the person might "take it poorly". Several people have inexplicably asked me if they can unfriend people from their journals.
Please, just unfriend someone you don't read.
And if you are unfreinded, please don't take it seriously. Not everyone is equally interested in the same things you are. If you're really interested, you can still read their public posts.
In light of that, I'd like to say:
If you're bored with my journal, or if you don't read it, go ahead and unfriend me. I won't take it personally.
Besides, my whole journal is open to the public. It's not like you can't catch up once per week or something like that.
Looking forward to seeing lots of people in AZ this weekend.
Here's hoping I can catch up on all my work and make one final post here before I go. I'm out of the office (and thus mostly offline) from Wednesday until Tuesday of next week.
Oh, and I'm doing a Chaos Magic presentation tonight at PSA, apparently, as warm-up for Desert Magic.
Current Mood: amused

That's how it works. I heard you were coming :)
Actually, AZ is sort of accidental. Not that I'm complaining, mind you.

AZ is accidental??? You mean you weren't planning on this???
BTW, you are coming on Wednesday?
Well, let's just say that certain forces conspired for me to go.
As far as planning, yes, I was planning on it, but was unsure if it would happen.
And something let me do it. I imagine a lot of it had to do with the amusing insistence that I go. This insistence began when I found out I was doing a ritual I never agreed to actually perform, which sent me into giggle fits. It still is sending me into giggle fits, for what it's worth.
No, I fly in on Thursday, at some ungodly hour of the morning. I fly out at an even more ungodly hour of the morning. Then I get there and realize I don't get to sleep in until Sunday.
I imagine that Sunday, I'll be sleeping as much as possible. It'll be my first chance to actually really rest in about 4 weeks.
I'm taking off Wed. because I have a workshop for work to attend.

Hm, yes. Certain forces are very good at conspiring.....
Well, I am glad you are going to be there. :)

Oh, and I know what you mean about those ungodly early morning flights - that's what I am doing both going to and leaving from Wellspring also. Yikes!
