|10:49 am - Search strings|
The top search string for my website [Chronarchy.Com] for the past two months has been:
For some reason, more people find my website through that search string than any other.
That is truly weird.
Current Mood: amused
Current Music: "Everlasting Moon", -JB
get a lot of hits for "Triple Goddess" (which makes me laugh, since it's an article debunking the Maiden-Mother-Crone as a Celtic concept) and The 21 Lessons of Crap
(wherein I attempt to evicerate Monroe's textbook of stupidity, misogyny, and covert pedophilia dressed up as pseudo-Ioloian druidry)--though I must admit that Cei
has a better dissection.
I think it's funny that the two big hits are for things I rip apart.
I've been meaning to write a review of 21 lessons for a long time, but yes, Cei's is pretty darn good :)
I think Cei's should be handed to every fool who buys that book seriously believing it's the "real thing"--including a very foolish 17-year-old me.
I wonder if we can convice Lewellyn to print it in the back as a new "appendix" to Douggie's work?
You do seem to pass out quite a bit... though I've never actually witnessed you doing it myself. Huh. Maybe you're just all talk...
The nice thing is, I've never passed out from drinking :)
This is very helpful at Pagan festivals, where passing out could cause you to wake up in someone else's sleeping bag. . .
It's possible that I'm all talk, but never underestimate my talk :)
How do you find out the search string thingie?
I'm on DrakNet, and they have some built in statistics for stuff like this. If you have a web-based control panel for your webpage, it might be something you could find there.
I have the strangest friends. ;D
