Wow, ADF-Religion might raise some eyebrows.
If you're on it, out of what modicum of respect you have for me and/or her, please delete Erien's post [entitled LOL good times] without reading.
I'd really, really appreciate it. It was sent incorrectly to that, and was meant for me.
Can't change that it was sent, though, so there's nothing else I can do other than ask people not to read it. And laugh. A good, hard laugh. Good luck controling your curiosity.

I knew I should have subscribed to that.
Member's only, I'm afraid. Of course, if you join in the future, it's firmly entrenched in the archives of that list, for all time.

I deleted it on general principle of "I don't want to read that list right now," before I saw this. Now, I'm trying to resist the urge to go digging through my trash folder. Curiosity or respect... which will win?
Well, I obviously can't stop you, so it's up to you :)
I'm still laughing about it, but I don't know if Erien is.
But thanks for the initial delete, even if it was inadvertant. :)
I'm appreciative that you can resist. It's probably really good gossip material, and it probably makes me look pretty bad to people who don't know me. People who have never really plumbed the depths of my flirting online or over email are sure to read more into it than there is.
It's amusing. The more a person flirts with me, the more likely they are to find the email totally innocent.
I figured a post to LJ might catch a couple of people :) Thanks for deleting.
Wow, it almost makes me wish that I were a member of ADF-Religion so that I could, um, delete it ... unread. LOL
I imagine most people will do just that. "Oh, yeah. I deleted that. Oh noooo, I would never read anything I was asked not to!"
Sorry. Knowing you & knowing her (& knowing full well that whatever it was wouldn't change my level of respect for you) I had to check it out. :)
I didn't read all of it, though. I wasn't sure which was you & which was her but it sounded like some of our conversations. I was highly amused.
Yes, that's the thing that amuses me most: that particular conversation could have happened with lots of women that I'm really close to.
Hell, the dialogue could have been with any of about 10 or 12 different women, and it would have read about the same.
I think it's just the people who don't get that level of flirting from me might be a bit, ah, taken aback. I hope no one wonders why I don't flirt so heavily with them :)
Besides, without context, it is difficult to really understand.
Well, I saw her email before yours. Read the first two lines or so and was really confused, looked up, saw yours, and deleted it out of respect and sincere confusion.
I've done that before. I think I once nearly sent something bashing someone to the PSA list awhile ago. It's a crappy feeling. Oh, and I sent an email to Jenni that was supposed to go to you back when I was trying to be all secret about my homecoming.
Oh, tell Erien that I'm gonna start work on her cockroach before Friday since my mom has the yarn I need and I've not yet progressed to zapping things from place to place with my mind.

Yeah, I think we've all done something like that at some point or another.
Let's see, there was the time Pandora posted a private e-mail to Fox on one of the lists. That was a good one.
Then there was the time I accidentally posted something "salacious" into an ADF IRC chat. Yeah, that was fun too. Gods, I hope that wasn't archived anywhere...
But I have total sympathy for folks in that position because I've been there. Gods, I could well be there again in the future. May the understanding I share today come back to me next time I'm in that position :)

Step 1. Build a time machine, go back in time, and join said list.
Step 2. . . .
Step 3. PROFIT.
Good luck. Don't forget the little people!
You should see about getting it deleted from the archives. I know I got it in the digest, which makes it a bit harder to delete... since I want to keep some parts of the digest.
Months later it will be brought up by someone in blackmail, assuredly :)
Hehe. Archive deletion isn't really that important to me. In the end, the "damage" is already done, and it's out to probably over 100 mailboxes. Besides, having worked in tech support, I know that once something is out there, it's *out there*. We once had a guy post his W2 to a newsgroup, and all we could tell him was, "I'm sorry, it's archived on Google, yahoo, and thousands of people's newsreaders. We don't have access to that, anyway."
Fortunately, almost no one reads archives :)
Blackmail is only for things that you're ashamed of. Really, there's nothing in there I'm ashamed of. I'll be surprised if it doesn't get mentioned at a few bardic circles, though.
If you're really looking to delete it, though (and thank you for trying), you might try to use the "edit the message" bit in your mail program, and just re-save it. I used to do that all the time on Yahoo!Groups to get rid of those stupid advertisements they kept sending me at the bottom of every message.
acutrlaly i deleted it without reading it....although...yea.....i wonder...
You could just make up the gossip. You'd be at least as accurate as anything guessed from the email :)

Aw darn... I'm not on ADF-Religion... but I totally enjoy your rumor mill stuff. I would have read it if I could have - and wouldn't have thought you any the worse for it. heheh.
I know Kirk will see it, but I don't know if he'll read it. If he *did* read it, you should ask him to tell you what he thought. Then tell me, because I'd be curious what someone who doesn't know the context thinks of it. :)
The more I think about it and the more times I read it, the less incriminating it is, though. It's so vague and non-specific that the only thing you can possibly extrapolate is that I'm a flirt. . . and sometimes I play dirty with the flirtation.
That should surprise no one.
Beyond that, it's all just really good gossip.
AM I on that list? Haha, I don' even know. They botched up my name, so then when I asked them about it they just set up an account for me, username AnnaMessinger. Haven't done anything with it yet, not my computer.
Is everything okay? Was there a refernce to shadow puppetteering and bed play that got dissapproving finger wags? Bah, the internet. *shakes head*
No, you have to sign up for them :) I know that Anthony created you a username, and the office corrected your info in the database today. (I'm up on all this stuff)
And yeah, it might have something to do with the shadowpuppets. But I can neither confirm nor deny.
And fingers have been waved at me today :)
We've only slept together, never flirted though.
But what about that night in Bangkok? Didn't that mean anything to you?
