|09:53 am - Stupid Esus/Jesus freaks. . .|
fred_smith pointed this out to me:
"Esus is Jesus"
What amuses me most are the first four links for "finding out more about Esus" link directly to me (the geocities site is also mine), and I would *totally* contradict his argument.
I guess that I can't simply believe that I can just ignore the crazies. If they're using my page to support their arguments, I'll have to update it to point out that Esus is not, in fact, Jesus, or vice versa
Ah, the perils of having good, scholarly information on the internet. Someone will find a way to twist it.
Current Mood: amused
Current Music: "Tin Cup Chalice", -JB
Talking of good, scholarly information: Fred_Smith is not FredSmith or vice versa.
Other than that, good for you contradicting the crazies, this is not an issue I know a great deal about, but I'm glad I could accidentally help out. Hopefully the top note will help.
Oops. :) Got that fixed. Damn that fredsmith
, taking your good press!
He's been trailing me for months, damn that man! I'd stay angry with him, but the way I see it anyone who uses the surname "Smith" on the internet is practically family.
So does that mean you're my long-lost brother or something? :)
Yeah, probably. And there's many more members of our clan, we're probably one of the biggest groups here. We should all come together and take over the internet sometime.
That would be entertaining to say the least. :)
So would it be just people who use the name on the net, people named Smith who are on the net or folks who use the name & are also named Smith in real life?
Well, we shall need as large an army as possible. So probably both the Internet Smiths and Real Life Smiths.
Cool. I'll recruit my RL brother, who's a Smith but doesn't play one on the net.
Excellent, are you a Smith, off-line?
Twice over. My name is Smith & I'm a metalsmith.
My user name is a pun that my Father would have been mighty proud of. :)
Excellent, good to know. You are truley a Smith, goof for you.
