|04:48 pm - Gratuitous post, because it seems required|
I pay attention to the piddly little posts that some of my friends make. To prove it, I will make a post that seems to be obligatory:
This is a post that only goes to show that I now have more than one usericon.
I believe this is called "IconLust" or something.
Will I use the others? Um, probably not.
But usericons sometimes are the key to deciding whether you're going to friend a person or not, because we're all that shallow.
I love LJ. It's all about the shallowness of posts *laughs*
Current Mood: amused
Current Music: "Cowboy in the Jungle", -JB
And the pettiness, don't forget about the pettiness!
and the prettiness!
because that icon is very, very pretty.
There's drama? Where?!
Oh, yeah. Drama.
yay for photos i've taken!!
it's very distracting to see you grinning out of my lj page.
good for you :-p
*grin* The reason is as follows:
"Dear Mr Chussington Powell Foxworthy, Thank you for returning my manuscript and your enclosed nasty niggley-piggley little note. I'm afraid your letter is most unsuitable for me at this time as I have just spent the entire weekend writing the novel you have so summarily rejected. I can only assume it is company policy to reject any manuscript not submitted in 10-foot-high braille. And, yes, I am aware that it is traditionally bad form to respond to any form of criticism or rejection, but in this, as in all else, I am an innovator. Therefore I may freely address you as PISS MIDGET.
Still, there is time for you to change your views and I think you will when we meet, and meet we most assuredly will, when I suck out your eyes and use them as stoppers for my ears to muffle the screams you will make as I headbutt you into a fine paste. I do hope you will not be disheartened by your sudden violent death. Yours faithfully, Bernard Black." - Dylan Moran, 'Black Books
' (series 3 DVD extras, 'Bernard's Letter')
yes. i love words, dylan moran, and black books. :-D
thus, the icon is perfect.
i must comment that yours is rather cool too. Hail Eris.
"Distractions are the stuff of life."
That takes work, and involves actually intending to use them, I think. I kinda like the idea of them just sitting there unused.
That is certainly a nice collection. I only have three or four myself. I think I'm going to go back to using my Red Green one.
It makes the first time I've ever changed icons since I started.

Well it's about time! I like the one that I'm in.
I almost grabbed one with the two of us shirtless, but figured that I shouldn't be dragging people into my icons that I use for posting wherever.

Besides, the one of us shirtless might make you look gay. An icon of you and some other guy without shirts?
Not that there's anything wrong with being gay. However...
Worry not: I understand.
That new icon makes you look like some kind of Victorian rent-boy park perv. Not that that is bad or anything...I mean, it looks good on you. Er, that is to say... LOL
Why thank you. . . I think. . .
I *love* the new icon. Very rakish. :)
I, too, have fallen into IconLust
It's a lot of fun. :)
*makes mental note to remember to ask ceolnamara
if she'd mind if I made a print based on that pic*
I don't mind as long as Mike don't mind.
oh wow, let me drooooooooool over your shirtless one!
It's a pleasure to be helpful to me adoring fans, you know.
