10:12 am - Eris!
"Eris can hear a pinhead full of dancing angels land pinhead down, along with all their agonized screams."

I'm rather proud of that statement. . .

Hehe. Yes. singingwren indicated that she was whispering so that Eris wouldn't hear, which lead me to thinking about how Eris could almost certainly hear a pindrop, and then I thought about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. . . And it just all fell together.

Of course, then I found out that singingwren wasn't talking about Eris, but about her boss. Eh, whatcha gonna do? :)

Whether intended or not, I think the idea of whispering so Eris can't hear is a delightful one, and I may have to steal it.

I'm sure most everyone has already seen the very old "quantum physics" treatment for the dancing angels. But no discussion of said angels can be conducted without someone bringing it up. Might as well be me. :)

That's kind of strange... my hyperlinks don't seem to be getting underlined. Not sure if that's at my end or yours. But the link in question is the "quantum physics" from the previous post, in case you missed it.

yeah, it's on my end. The way my journal layout is set up, there's no underlining of links.

It bothers me to some extent, but not enough to go learn how to fix it.

Ah, the power of intertia.

And that's why I'm still using S1, where I can directly edit the HTML header (and therefore supersede the stylesheet) to my heart's content.

That's the best sentence I've read all day. Kudos.
