"Skin" is indeed a great post-breakup CD. "Breakdown" is pretty darn good too.

In fact, most ME is good post-breakup. Not that I have any experience with this...

Really? I've never considered her any good for that.

Then again, the breakup itself was never a problem for me. It was other things. The breakup, remarkably, was simple.

So I doubt I need a CD for it.

Well, if you have a messy painful breakup, she has good angsty type music for that. Since yours was not of that sort, ME's music probably won't do much for you. There may come a day when you have cause to pass on this knowledge though, to someone who is going through a breakup where such music will be an excellent palliative.

Ha, speaking of music -- Simon's in the basement with Green Day cranked. I do believe that boy is picking up some good musical tastes.

i didn't like "Breakdown" when i first got it. it was so smooth and polished. Very NOT-ME

then i read her autobio, which wasn't that great, but it put 'breakdown' into a whole new perspective, and shot it to the top of my favorite ME albums list.

Interesting how that can happen.
