"I can't believe she picked it up,
She didn't know the rules somehow.
Then I hear her say, "Hello". . .
Panic in the gray room now!"
I'm laughing at the rules today.

COMPLETELY off-topic, but I got your postcard today. Thanks! I never get mail, so I feel very loved...
Well, you did provide me with an address. . . And the only thing I like better than mail from an exotic locale is sending mail to them.
I don't know why, but I enjoy mailing things out.
Glad you got it. It was certainly the most complicated address I've ever written out (as I noted, I managed to misspell your last name but got the street names right, which confused the hell out of me). Though the complicated address may be why you don't get much. . . I was certainly skeptical that it would make it :)
The US reformed the postal system here during the occupation, so like at home, the most important thing is the postal code at the end. Basically, they could have looked at that and my name and said: "Hmm...which of the two white guys in this town should this go to?" Sometimes it's not so bad being a minor celebrity in town...
