1. Travel - Is travel an adventure, or a pain?
Always an adventure.

2. Religion - Are religion and ancestry intimately tied to you?
No. Not at all, really. I can see myself honoring the ancestors no matter what my religion is - but in different ways.

3. Family - How does your family influence the way you live your life?
I have some issues with men that partly stem from familial relationships. Also, I don't know that I entirely trust people to believe me when it comes to my health, because my parents have repeatedly shown that they think I'm full of garbage relating to that (and each time, wow, I've been right). This is programming that I have been working on getting past.

Negative stuff aside, I have a drive for success and refusal to give up that I learned at home. Both have brought me where I am today, which is loads better off than I'd have been without it. I am most excited in life by the opportunity to learn something academically, which I got from my time with my father as a child. Most importantly, feeling like I wasn't as important as my other siblings growing up led to me to develop a pattern of trying to prove myself in spectacular ways. Sometimes I've fallen because of it, but each time I've learned something intrinsic to help myself and my chances of success in the future.

So, yeah, as you can tell, my family has influenced my life. It might seem to people who know some of the story that it's all been negative - but I am truly leading a fantastic life - and all because I refuse to settle for mediocrity and the same old same old.

4. Love - Do you believe in love at first sight?
I've not experienced it, but that doesn't mean I don't believe in it.

5. Sex - How much info is too much info?
I don't want to hear about bodily fluids/products, they gross me out. Other than that, I'm an incredibly curious person. If someone said something I didn't want to hear, I'd tell them to stop or walk away. I'm more likely to be interested in the mechanics of a particular act/state academically than be automatically horrified. Things like genital mutilation and a specific vaginal piercing (not gonna elucidate you here, unless you really want to know) kinda gross me out.

6. Hobbies - What is your favourite thing to do when you're nervous or waiting for something?
Crochet. It keeps my hands busy, which for me is a really good thing. I should start a club called Fidgeters Anonymous.

7. Pets - Have you ever had a pet besides cats?
Yes. I've had two hamsters and three mice at one point. My sisters had birds, and as a kid I tried to adopt many a wild animal (which my mother never allowed, and all the better for that).

8. Friendship - How long can a friendship endure?
Forever, if each person's idea or need of friendship is being met. I think that some sort of contact between people is important, as well.

9. Literature - When you realize a book is bad, do you give up on it, or do you grit your teeth and finish it?
I give it up. Why waste my time with that when I could be doing something more useful/productive/enjoyable? Also, I rarely read things that don't interest me because I can't read things that don't interest me. My attention span is nil when I'm bored. I'm lucky that I'm genuinely interested in so many things, or I'd never get anything done or pay attention to anyone but myself.

10. Movies - Which character from a movie do you most identify with?
Amelie from Amelie.

11. Home town - Where is "home" to you?
Cleveland, with Achill coming in as a home of my heart. I'll never live in the latter, and I'm not sure I'll live in the former, so I guess home is where I feel comfortable and loved.

12. Physical Appearance - What do you like most about your body?
The color of my eyes and the way I smile.

13. Volunteer Work - What sort of thing would you volunteer for without thinking about it?
If a friend said they needed me, I'd be there for them any way possible.

14. Life Goals - Where do you want to be, and how are you getting there?
I am where I want to be right now, honestly. But in the future, I want to be working at a job where I can make a lot of money and enjoy myself doing it. Why? Because of two things. Planning for future potential health scares and the fact that money gives freedom. I think you can understand why I say that.

15. The World - What is north of you?
A rack of magazines and my coursepack that I really ought to get back to.
