|01:01 pm - Night Watch tonight|
I'm going out to see Night Watch tonight. Today is the last day it's at the dollar theatre on Bethel Rd. (according to the lady I spoke with at the counter when I was there yesterday).
Anyone is welcome to join me. I'd really like some company.
10:05 PM. Don't be late. I'll see you there.
Cinemark Movie 12

Columbus, OH 43220
Current Location: Southeast of Disorder
Current Mood: amused
Current Music: "Lovely Cruise", -JB
I *may* be there. It's my 15th wedding anniversary today, so my ability to go is contingent on how much spousal guilt I'll get for going. I really want to see the movie though...
*nods* I'd love to see you, but I can, of course, understand you not showing up under said circumstances.
Of course, you could also go to a movie for your anniversary. . .
I could go to a movie for my anniversary, but if I bring John, I have to bring the monkeys as well, which would be a bit of a killjoy. They'd probably enjoy it though, seeing as how they share my taste in movies.

What, the anniversary isn't an automatic sitter night?
Sadly, no. We don't typically use sitters. My mom and stepdad used to babysit for us occasionally, but since my mom's cancer she is too tired all the time.

A Russian horror movie, you know I'm there. I'm a bit surprised that this wasn't on my radar, considering my tastes for horror films and most things Russian (I wonder what the postage is on a mail-order bride?). :)
I also just got a copy of what's been called the most disturbing film ever made, Salò, ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073650/
), so it looks like I'll be watching movies tonight instead of packing, good times...
I knew about this one when it was first run, but I couldn't afford to go. I'm surprised it made it to the dollar theatre. Look forward to seein' you tonight, then.
actually, not sure what your expense level is, but gateway's tuesday night tix are 5.00 for everyone. Which is when i first saw NightWatch.
Was already talking about seeing it agian tonight. Maybe I'll run into you there. =)
I'm still trying to wrap my mind around Roland Barthes writng that sort of movie.

Now, now, now, I personally thought that the "Whores for Christ" group made quite a few good comments when I met with them.
Dunno, but I'll bet this is their official uniform:
If you live in columbus, sign up for the Drexel newsletter, and you'll know about every foreign and indy film that hits columbus. (it covers the gateway, areana grand, grandview and drexel east.) =)http://drexel.net
I've wanted to see Night Watch for a while, but unfortunately, I'm stuck in Canton. ;-)
By the way, is Three Cranes doing a Summer Solstice ritual this year?
We'll be doing mini-rituals at ComFest, in our booth space. We're working out the logistics tonight, and then I'll have the schedule posted.
seeing as how I'm getting to know you, I just want to say thats very cool. (its it a public thing)
I've never been to comfest, I should really go this/some year.
there should be a "?" inside that parentheses

Seen it, have the DVD. It's a brilliant film. Any film that has memorable *subtitles*, let alone an actual plot and horror/action stuff, is worth a look.
