|11:00 am - Movie watchin'|
"I must see this move [The Man Who Would Be King] that has such an effect on you," Ix-Nay said. "It seems that movies, to gringos, are like myths to the Mayans. But this is not India, Tully. This is Belize."I expect, in the near future, to find a copy of "The Man Who Would be King" and watch it.

Would anyone be intersted?

Yes, I think so. What's it about? o.o
"Tagline: Adventure in all its glory!"
I think I've actually read this story...
Only the main dude wasn't Sean Connery. :0
It is a pretty good movie. Has Sean Connery and Michael Caine, which some may find to be a reason to watch it. I've seen it a number of times.
I'll see if it is likely to be on teevee anytime soon, and if so, burn a copy to DVD for you.
Heh, replying to myself, how very pathetic.
Since the burning to DVD didn't appear to interest you, perhaps it will help to know that the Columbus Library system appears to have about a dozen or so readily available on DVD.
Someone in my office may also have it. I'll see.
btw, lack of response doesn't indicate lack of interest. I didn't get to LJ as often as I wanted to yesterday. I would appreciate such a copy, if I don't find one elsewhere.
Don't worry: if I get ahold of one, a party will be announced, so no worries on duplicative efforts.
I've heard good things about that film. I'd be intrested if your asking anyone.
I am. Once a copy is in hand, we'll set somethin' up.
You just need to be Falun Gong. That's one of their superpowers: bilocation. You're in the wrong religion. :)
It is an excellent movie.
You should watch it with me! We'll put in the wrong DVD and throw popcorn at Ron Jeremy in a Mario Bros. outfit!
SO VERY POSSITIVLY EXCELLENT... A GOOD MOVIE... LOVED IT..
Yeah! Good to know :) I really want to see it.
I'd be up for it, if I can make it.
Rockin'. Did you get my email about He-Man I sent a couple of weeks ago? We finished the disks, but I wanted to make sure it didn't get lost in the ether of the internet.
Yeah, I got the e-mail, but I had a condensed summer class and was unable to make it. :( I would like to borrow the DVDs sometime, if you don't mind, though.
Sure. Remind me and I'll loan you a set of 'em.
Of course :-) We'll have to see, since there is a tiny issue with distance.
Who knows, maybe something can be worked out.
I'm super interested....have been since I was in Belize
