|09:41 am - Necrotic goodness and a thanks|
singingwren got me, quite possibly, the most awesome shirt ever recorded by mankind. It must be worn when I next play Diablo II and run amok with my Necromancer.
At right, see the front!
The back reads:
Necromancy—Helping to Lessen Our Dependency on the Funerary Industrial Complex
I'd also like to take a moment to thank the people who have offered to buy me dinner/cook for me the past couple of nights, though I haven't been able to take most up on it: Tina, Joyce, Maggie, wishesofastar, tesinth, sarahdipity418 and more that I'm probably momentarily forgetting.
I am doin' fine. Just low on cash right now, which is an issue that should solve itself tomorrow at midnight, when my paycheck gets deposited. Odds and ends around the house have been my saving grace.

Just the thing for my current packing.... or not.
That shirt goes right beside my "To repel Ghosts" shirt
in the list of Shirts Not To Pack When Going To A Funeral. :-) Somehow I doubt the relatives would appreciate the humor.
That kicks ass. Tell me, please, where I can get one.
Hey, the offer still stands, even if you ain't po' no mo'.
Mmmmm. . . He looks hungry. . . For BRAINS!
I think I deserve points for this.
*slips on a pair of sunglasses*
Oh, a point for sure.
I decided to wear it today (fits very well, btw). Tina busted out laughing at it, and my co-workers squint, read it, and then tell me they like it, too.
So. . . POINT!

Very funny! I like it :)
It's gotten some very good reactions :)
Damn, that's the coolest shirt I've seen in a long time. :)
Nice one! If we're going to get a true Diablo II LAN party going, though, I'll need a Paladin
shirt that says "Hell Difficulty is Real" on one side, and on the other: "If you were smited today, where would you spend eternity?"
Ooh, I like that idea :)
I think I might have gotten singingwren
to consider trying out the game. . . Maybe we can add another person to our smashing sometime. . .
Btw, I didn't make a major post on this because, well, it's geeky enough to be posting about my Necro t-shirt. . .
I'm currently running a poison Necro through the game. No bone spear, no high points in bone armour.
It's kinda fun. Just took out Diablo last night, in fact, in Normal difficulty. If poison skills teach one anything, it's patience. I was running up to him and stabbing him with my poison dagger
skill for about a half hour. One stab at a time, wait 9.6 seconds, and then go back in and do it again.
I do nearly a thousand damage per hit over that 9.6 seconds. And my dagger has "prevent monster heal" which is rather very helpful. Adding the synergy boosts to D2 in the 1.10 patch have really made the Necro a force to be reckoned with.
You just have to catch him while your life is leaking out the small wound in your leg, is all.
Thank the gods the monsters can't use antidote potions.
heh heh heh. talk about adding more strangeness to the emotional mix... :)
"The world is full of strange behavior,
Every man has to be his own savior.
I know I can make it on my own if I try,
But Im searchin for a great heart to stand me by
Underneath the african sky,
A great heart to stand me by."
I know I'm late to this post, but I'd just like to say that I got a Cold Sorc to level 80 in high school.
*is a gaming nerd in secret*
I don't really let myself play many games anymore, they're too addicting. I truly think that one semester, WoW caused my average grade to go from an A to a B. Which is why I uninstalled it.
Okay I'm done now.
*smiles* Obviously, you need to work more at it. Lvl 99 is the goal, man!
*secretly finds hot gamer girl nerds frighteningly attractive*
And yeah, I agree on the gaming. I try to avoid getting too caught up in them anymore. Shame, really. But having a computer that's 9 years old as my primary machine really helps me not buy games :)
Of course, I got a hand-me-down not long ago. . . it runs nicer, but still too slow for nearly all games. So I'm still safe :)
