|03:18 pm - Ugh.|
Today has suddenly become a really, really shitty day.
Current Location: Southeast of Disorder
Current Mood: depressed
Current Music: "Train to Dixieland", -JB
Sorry to hear that. You're welcome to come over and watch a movie tonight, if that'd help. I was going to watch LOTR, but I'm open to suggestion.

I vote for this! LotR totally cheers me up when I'm feeling out of sorts!
Sorry, didn't read comments after posting yesterday, got too busy, and left right at 5.
I ought to have disabled them, really, seeing as I wasn't reading, anyway.
But thanks for the suggestion.
No worries. I pretty much figured you wouldn't take me up on it.
Sorry, didn't mean to offend. The offer was in earnest, but I realized that it was last minute and chances were that you wouldn't see it before you left.
No, you didn't offend. I wasn't sure whether it meant that I was that unreliable or that you just thought that I wouldn't be interested in ever hanging out with you. Both of which made me generally sad. But not offended.
One day, I should have people actually *try* and offend me, to show just how hard it really is.
Maybe we'll designate Sept. 17 as "Offend the Bastard MJD Day"
Ooh, I like that idea!
Heh. Interesting choice of day there...
Well, I'd *hate* to conflict with International Talk Like a Pirate Day, and I figure that since no one celebrates Constitution Day anymore, it's wide open.
No one celebrates Constitution Day? That's a crying shame. It explains a lot too.
The most disgustingly ironic thing? The top hit for the search "constitution day" is this:
"On December 8, 2004, President George W. Bush signed House Resolution 1848 which officially established September 17th as “United States Constitution Day.”"
Funny, I remember seeing it listed on the calendars *far* before 2004. . .
Another piece of useless legislation, brought to you by the Bush Jr. Administration!
