|10:43 am - UK friends. . .|
I have some friends in the UK who read LJ, and Tina, my roommate, is in dire need of British Liquid Measures.
Is there anyone over there who would be able to get me a set? She's particularly interested in the following:
British Liquid MeasuresI will, of course, pay for 'em. Somehow. Either by trying to convert some cash to GBP's or sending something of equal value over to you.
1 pint = 570 ml = 20 fl oz
1 breakfast cup = 10 fl oz = 1/2 pint
1 tea cup = 1/3 pint
1 tablespoon = 15 ml
1 dessertspoon = 10 ml
Anyone willing to find these things for me?

Yes. She is particularly interested in making sure that all those kinds of measures are included in whatever "set" (if, indeed, they come in "sets" in the UK) she may get.
I'll write the whole list down once I submit this comment.
There's at least two kitchen type stores I know of in town - and since I need to go to the post office tomorrow, it's no trouble to stop in and see what I can find.
I'll email tomorrow evening and let you know what I've found. Or call, if I'm feeling ambitious.

Or if you have no luck, I should be able to get them here. Quality ranging from cheap studenty-stuff to quite nice, depending on what's wanted (lovely living in a uni town).
