|06:00 pm - The Dedicant Path Through the Wheel of the Year has been updated!|
A new edition of The Dedicant Path Through the Wheel of the Year (often known simply as "WotY") is now available. Resources have been added, some sections have been expanded, typos have been found and fixed, and submission information has been updated.
For those looking to finish the requirements for the DP documentation, this book will walk you through all eleven requirements in a 52-week period, offering homework, resources and reading for every requirement, and explanations and breakdowns of the requirements to help you understand exactly what the exit standard is asking.
Hard copies are available for $12 on my CafePress store, and they come wire-bound so that they lay flat for easier working. Buy it here:
The book is *still* free for download from the ADF site, too! You can find it among other supplemental publications here:
[The .pdf file at the above address is also now full of live links: no more copy/paste from the document! Just "click and go!"]
Thanks to all those who have offered feedback, encouragement, and support on this book over the years, and a *huge* thank you to all the Dedicants who have taught me so much over the time I've been in ADF!
(This isn't the only book announcement you'll see from me this week. . . Watch our Grove site, 3cg_blog, ADF-Announce, and Oak Leaves for the next announcement!)

Um, I hate to burst your bubble but under the various ritual write up pages, you repeat the same thing. Basically, you ask how did the *first* ritual go. I checked my old copy against the pages on the ADF file - and found that those paragraphs were not reviewed or revised. But I would recommend for the next edition, a through re-reading of each page. (That's the editor in me. :) )
I would suggest, on the second one, ask did it go differently than the first one. Then build on each ritual in questions.
I do like the additions to the DP manual though!
Could you refer to the place it needs to be corrected by week?
I did read through each page, but I have noticed that no matter how many times I read through, I always miss a couple errors.
Thanks for the suggestion, though.
I was an editor for econ. papers. What I generally suggest to folks is to have someone else read it. You have read it for so long, that your brain places in the missing words. Or read it backwards. Backwards reading catches the grammar problems and short circuits the brain. You can do it paragraph by paragraph, page by page.
I will do the weeks for you and post later.
Chapters that I spotted
Chapters 16, 22, 28, and 41 the homework section: "There, you've just written your first essay on a High Holy Day, and you're only three weeks into your training! You'll find that all of these essays go similarly...."

Fixed, thank you for finding them.
