02:27 pm - Oh, so that's what suffrage was about!
"I am especially proud to say, in the week we celebrate the anniversary of women's suffrage, [she is] a devoted wife and a mother of five."
-Senator McCain, about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin

Between 6:30 and 7:00 minutes into this video.

I didn't know suffrage was about being devoted to your husband and popping out babies. . .

Almost every day he does something to bolster my crackpot theory that he is deliberately trying to lose this election.

Either that, or there's a top Dem strategist who has been masquerading as a top Republican strategist for the past few months.

That would be hilarious!

I am actually looking forward to analysis of this election after it's all over. There are so many things about it that are historic and so many that are just downright odd. I think there will be college level government/civics/history classes devoted just to 2008 sometime in the future.

I think you're right there. The changing landscape of what media is available for getting the word out about who you are is probably enough on its own to warrant a course, much less the types of candidates that are running. . .

I agree. My only fear is that he WILL win. That would be a serious, "Oh, shit, we're REALLY screwed" moment.

That would be a nightmare, and I am afraid of it, as well.
