10:34 am - Something I'm thinking about today
When did you last pray? Last do a ritual? Last attend something with your spiritual brothers or sisters? Last take a hike and look with wonder on the world and feel full of its beauty and promise? And, if you're not the spiritual sort, when did you last do whatever it is that fulfills you?

I don't often give instructions via LiveJournal, but today I'm going to:

Find something that fills that need within you, and do it.

It will always help.

Indeed, it's complicated to fulfill oneself when one believes fulfillment is unreachable.

Thought Feel that you might be more fulfilled, should you try doing all three at once. . . Though don't swallow when you breath in, just chew.

Indeed, for all the simplicity and clear usefulness of Taoism, it's way too complicated and hard for me. . .

It does, doesn't it? It always does for me, too.

Pray? Probably going on ten years or so. Ritual? Probably the PSA thing on the oval years ago. Spiritual Bros and Sisters? Probably never if you define it strictly enough. Hike? Last "real" hike was early spring with wishmaiden, though I tend to appreciate my short walks around the university and I tend to easily get into the "flow" of things... Do whatever fulfills me? It's been a while.

We always need to go down that route. At least, we do when I have time and shit ain't breakin' at work. . .

Stuff's always breaking here, it's why I have a job (and no, its not the same stuff time and time again) which provides me with money to procure bacon, which is the sole purpose for money, right?

If there is any other use for money, I have yet to be convinced.

Nice, I've seen the bacon weave before but hadn't thought of using it to wrap stuff, even more bacon! More research is needed, damn, there does my weekend...

Thank you for asking!

I've not prayed in weeks. I've not done a ritual in months. I've not hung out with "spiritual brothers and sisters" in the sense I generally think of in years. I've hiked just a few days ago though, and always am in love with the nature that surrounds me... but back to the first part, I'm currently working on it, and should have all them answered "yesterday" by the end of January!

Mind if I copy/paste this question on the forums I go to? If so, do you want credit for asking?

No credit needed, though pointers to the website (chronarchy.com) are always, of course, welcome.

Just something I was thinking of today.

Heh, when I asked if you wanted credit I almost asked if you wanted your LJ or your site mentioned. So the site it is!

Credited it all the way around ;)

If you'd like to follow along with the comments there: http://www.occultcorpus.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5731 (if not, then delete this comment *smirk* as I really am not here to plug my site)

Once again, thank you for asking.

Everytime I go to the farm, I get this. The outside world stands still, and it is only me and the infinate earth around and beneath me.

I have been running not stop latly and doing for others that I have neglected the most important thing to me. My spirituality side. I so need to reset up my altar now that I am back home and dive back into meditations and offerings at it. Thank you for the reminder. I really needed that in more ways then one.

It's real easy to get caught up in stuff. When I did, I came to almost a complete stop to try and get my bearings again. I figured others might benefit from exactly what I was thinking at the time.
