10:21 am - Yet Another Dedicant Book Published
Over the secular holiday, I received a very nice note from an ADF member regarding my DP Wheel of the Year publication and how much it has helped him direct his path over time. This got me thinking (well, technically it sent me into work-mode), and over the course of about 48 hours, I had put together and published a new book through Lulu.

So, without further adieu: The ADF Wheel of the Year Journal.

This one isn't available for download because it's a pen-and-paper journal by design (though I wish it made sense to do so: I make a lot more on downloadable content than I do on paper content). It also won't be available for free to ADF members because. . . again: it's a pen and paper journal.

This book is more substantial than the WotY is: let's face it, it would have to be because the WotY only poses questions, it doesn't provide space to answer them in (always one of my biggest issues with the format). Still, it's directly related to the WotY and it doesn't contain any "new" information, really (though there are rune and ogham quick reference charts, as well as additional High Day records and more guidance for book reviews).

The really nice thing about it? It helps the student keep all their work in one place (generally speaking). It's even got places for you to stick photos of your home shrine in, and a couple of points where you're encouraged to draw pictures.

Another cool thing? I made sure that there was enough continuity between the designs that if you buy both the WotY and the WotY Journal in paper form, they should sit nicely as a set on a shelf :)

Anyway, doing stuff like this makes me feel like I'm really doing the Clergy work I signed up for, that I oathed to do. It makes me feel good about my vocation and it helps to give me a strong sense of "do-gooding" as regards the folk. That's important, particularly during times like these when, as Jimmy says, "Everything seems to be wrong."

So... if I understand correctly... it's more like a workbook then?
It has the questions and space to write the answers??

Have I got that right?
Chris:)
