I am a fan of Blu-ray, I think it's no secret. I like the quality of the sound and the video. Today, though, I saw something that made me very happy:
Indiana Jones is coming to Blu-ray!
And not just that last one, but all three. (Let's be honest here, Raiders was the best of the series.) I'll be ordering all that :)
I think we'll have to have a party. Maybe we'll watch them in reverse so that we can keep the audience interested :)

You must have a big TV. DVD is still fine for me, but I've only had a TV that could do that justice for a week -- and it's only 32" (though 1080p).
I definitely like the idea of this party though. Maybe they should be shown in chronological order - Temple of Doom, Raiders, Last Crusade.
We've got a 40", which is enough to make a difference between standard and HD. For most things, I don't really care enough about the quality to worry about it (I tend to buy DVD's for most things), but sometimes, when I'm really keen on a flick or TV show, I'll spring. I tend to go Blu-ray mostly with HBO series and movies I really, really like (and get on sale).
And yes, chronological does seem like a good idea :)
