Colour the Grey is a pretty nifty idea, I think.
As time goes on, and I get more and more into Chaos Magic, I make choices on what to give up.
Sometimes it's something small: a drop of blood, a minute of time, or a creative impulse.
Sometimes it's much larger: an entire day, a $300 piece of artwork, or my Gods themselves.
It's an act of worship, an act of being. The difference between what I give up and what I receive is huge, though.
Until you try it, you don't understand. When you do try it, you may not understand what you just did, but you do understand that you are truly free.
And with Chaos Magic, the paradigm you pirate may be your own.
With Chaos Magic, nothing is really "given up" for too long. You make a shift in your conciousness, and you believe you've given up what you really haven't. The belief drives the situation.
"I am Chaos.
I am the substance from which your artists and scientists build rhythms.
I am the spirit in which your children and clowns laugh in happy anarchy.
I am Chaos. I am alive, and I tell you that you are free."
-Eris, Goddess of Chaos, Discord, & Confusion
YHVH isn't the only deity who talks directly to people. We Discordians have our own revealed word.
